I have a few bikes setup like this. Works really well. I've found old Suntour FDs are pretty good for front shifting doubles, usually sub-compact in my case.
You should be able to run Shimano 9sp with Shimano rear mech, Hubbub clamped, and 10sp Ergos, or 9sp Shimano with Shimano rear mech clamped normally with 11sp Ergos, optimising the centreline for the 5th cog. I've seen it work well a few times now.
