Prince Regent in Herne Hill, talk to Matt, give him a kiss from me...
He can get you a late licence if you ask nicely, like all pubs, they're limited to a certain amount of these every year...
You'll have a great time, I've had a couple of parties up there... And don't let your world famous DJ mates get away with being dicks to the staff... X

Thanks, man. Looks decent. No divas behind the decks, I assure you.

@Timmy2wheels The Nun's head have a smaller room than The Regent, if you want that sweatbox effect. Actually not that small.

Cheers, man. Think I've been to a comedy night up there. Bit small for my many international friends. Also not sure there's a bar in the room, which is key to not being alone whilst playing your carefully-selected party bangers (to the few people not smoking outside).

Final punt. Prince Regent is a great option and one to fall back on, but it is a bit far south/ not that well connected for folk oop north. Any suggestions around Old St/ Angel/ Kings Cross?
Turning 40 in Feb and fancy myself a bit of a party. Started looking for a venue a while ago but then life got in the way, and now it's only two months away...
Requirements:
Late-ish licence - till 1am at least, ideally later
Free or cheap (under £200) to hire, or with reasonable min bar spend
Space for 80-100
Decent soundsystem, ideally with turntables and mixer at very least, preferably CDJs too
Prefer south-east (live in Brockley) or central, but would consider anywhere so long as close to transport links
What you got, Luffguss?
