How long were you cat there for, do you know? Mine's kittens were only just given away and she was waiting to be spayed, so she was barely ready to be rehomed, like she wasn't even 'on display' yet... but she was the only mild tempered (my ass she is!) cat they had at the time, which meant she was ideal for a 1st timer. They couldn't wait to get her out of the door by making me commit to her there and then, which I was only too happy to! However, they didn't give me any time frame of either her surgery or when I could pick her up, when I left on the day. Some days later, they called me on a Thu and expected me to go pick her up at the drop of a hat, when I said I could only go on that Sun, they insisted Sat would be the deadline or I'd lose my reservation. And even questioned whether I was lying when I said I needed to be at work on that Sat... I mean what differene would another day make?
I don't know, I am glad I have met my cat, but I would never go back there again as I don't like how they rushed things through for me. Also the rehoming interview was a joke, even a serial cat killer could easily pass.
Oh this is really disappointing. I got mine from them last year and they were brilliant- she'd had both jabs and lots of other medical stuff to boot, including really complex scans of her heart as she's got a slight murmur. The vet was excellent and very thorough and so were all the volunteers and staff I met. Sorry to hear others' experiences haven't been as good.
