Hopefully not an issue, but I wonder if that fork crown is just right for good shinners?

Did think about that, but having had a balance bike for the first daughter, her legs always trailed behind when riding, very different in use position than anything with pedals. The pedal bike doesn't have the swoopy crown for exactly this reason. Good spot though!
