2D 70mm IMAX at the Science Museum was incredible. Watched it 3 times now and considering a cheeky 4th with some Vue vouchers I've got.

Watching it 3 times really allowed me to get over the hype and actually watch the film, things I've noticed now:
There is decent Starkiller Base tension, I just think I couldn't feel it the first time because I was too excited.
Why does R2 only come back online when they return from Starkiller base, lots of stuff happened there, which one prompted his turning online? The obvious one is the appearance of Rey at the Rebel base. Or was it the death of Han? Was it just the fact Han faced Kylo Ren?
Luke and R2 have a history of hatching secret plans, what was the plan?
I'm wondering if Luke and Han had a plan, after Han's son turns to the Dark side and wipes out the Jedi trainees, Luke tells him he has forseen that Kylo Ren will become some powerful being, but there's a chance he will be able to turn him back to the light, but he must wait, and when the time is right, he must make that move. To me, that kind of explains why Han faces Kylo Ren so readily, but then it could have just been fatherly love, and his feeling re-ignited after seeing Leia after a long time.
Interesting tit bits I've found out, Yoda and Obi Wan (Ewan McGregor and Alec Guiness mash ups) both say things to Rey in her little acid trip, and Daniel Craig is the actor in the stormtrooper outfit that Rey does her first Jedi mind trick on.
