Next year's is supposed to be Tottingham's.

Well. This pretty much proves it's the team. Klopp is a good manager, and Rodgers was decent. But this team needs some serious work, if we want to finish near the top

Goalkeeper: Mignolet is ok, but nothing special, could do with an upgrade
Defence: I really rate Clyne, especially going forward. Skrtel is solid, Sakho and Lovren have their moments, but I think another CB would be good. Moreno is decent
Midfield. Milner brings experience, but he's not a long term option. Henderson, Chan, Lucas are all solid, but we need more creativity in the centre. Lallana is out of his depth. Coutinho is the one top class player in the team (but needs to be more consistent). Firmino, Ibe are still works in progress, they may work out.
Strikers: Benteke, decent, but doesn't fit into this style of play. Sturridge, when fit, is one of the best in the Prem, but you have to wonder if he'll ever play a major part in this team again. Origi has shown moments that he can do it, but again, he's one for the future. We absolutely need a top class striker.

Mike has managed to fit all four stages of the Kopite boom bust cycle into a four week period. A new record I think?

Real scored 10 goals in one game today. Great league, La liga....

• #122190
Have Chelsea's players accepted that they are at Watford's level yet?
-
• #122191
They'd be lucky if they were at Liverpool's level before they get too big headed.

So some tit in the media a few weeks back said Liverpool could win the league, they now sit comfortably in 9th position 14pnts off the top having lost their last 2 away games 5-0 on aggregate against Watford and Newcastle(not forgetting the valiant 2-2 fightback against the might of WBA last weekend)
Can these bellwhiffs finally after 25yrs of bleating concede that Liverpool ain't gonna win fuck all with shit managers and shit players.
As soon as Pep joins City, Klopp will be straight off to Bayern like a flash...if he's not sacked beforehand -
• #122193
Isn't Ancelotti going to Bayern?

For anyone who plays 5-a-side http://bit.ly/1TTFMlJ
Kinda got a lump in my throat reading that after we lost our organiser earlier in the year, sums it all up perfectly on how much kicking a ball around in a cage can bring people from different walks of life together...

That's a really nice piece

Blatter and Platini banned from football for 8 years...

Blatter and Platini banned from football for 8 years...
I wonder if that spells the end of them in football. If the ban is served in full they will be 87 and 68 respectively when it ends. I imagine there is some sort of plan to worm out of it tho.
Don't be such a defeatist.
