Found it when I was in Canada earlier this year, was an absolute mission getting it sent over but I'm glad I waited.

From what I've been told it's a very early 3rensho built by Yoshi Konno in 1987. I'd read that a 'C' on the BB shell meant it was domestic market but as far as I can tell it's an export model.

That said it may just stand for cyclone

Preliminary build, a bit slacker than I expected but to my delight it'll clear 28c so I'm gonna put those on and a larger ring and longer stem.

Also I though it was 62ctt but it's 62ctc, no bother as its still a fair bit over a fist full of post.

Drops will happen when I'm not just riding it about town.

Initial thoughts are that it rides really well, unbelievably light and stiff for its size. Both lighter and stiffer than the Makino.

Vertically very comfy, needs a bit more stem length and I think the saddle might have to come up too.

When they become available I'll go in, despite the frame being a good 20 years older.

That 3R is awesome mate, wel done. Makes me wanna strip mine and ride it daily!
