Just impulse bought a HED rear track disc. I paid £180, was that reasonable? Either way I'm excited

price seems kinda high for a challenger?

Yes Challenger price is a bit strong especially in that faded condition
I 'm after an Ambrosio 650 front if anyone got one in the back of their cupboards :) -

Okay I'm having trouble with this hed disc I just got, lockring does not tighten properly, even when it is on the threads there is side to side movement, tried it with 2 different lockring.
Am I missing something?

Side to side movement? Do you mean the lockrring does not tighten up against the sprocket?
-
• #164
No, as in like the lockring diameter was too big by a mm or so. Sorted now by trying a 3 Rd lockring. I'm guessing it needed a British lockring and the other ones where campag? I didn't realise there were different ones

Does hed disc sound like solid body discs?
-
• #166
They all sound the same imo, just different tones depending on the surface
-
• #167
I had a hed disc and it was particularly loud

No, not cheap for a Challenger
I paid about 70GBP for a NOS 650c Challenger this year and about 200GBP for a mint 700c Comete +/- in 2013
Not really market prices though...more, right place right time -

Anyone interested in some silva disc wheels? Non matching though, the front has a defined braking surface while the rear is in used condition. Photos show the condition -

Would appreciate advice on what the going rate is for one of these is. I have been offered it for £250 but have no idea if that is the going rate or not. I have had a look on completed listings on ebay but that did not reveal much.
I think it is a Corima disc wheel, it is fitted with a 10 spd Shimano cassette, I have no idea of the age.

Condition looks OK, no dings in the surface and the bearings run smooth.
Links should be working now!

I have just acquired an Ambrosio 650c front disc in Colnago/Spanish National team colours and was just wondering (very long shot I know) if anyone had a rear 700 to match.
I was intending to repaint it for my Moser but think that is a bit disrespectful to the history etc.
I also have another same but in Karkhov track colours which again I cannot bring myself to repaint.
Cheers

Anyone have a 650c Ghibli (or any Campag Ghibli) they'd send across the globe to New Zealand in exchange for this frame?
I'm willing to send first, although this is dependent on shipping cost. I haven't investigated this aspect yet, just testing the water
