Why not an R8 btw?

The new ones are always driven by very young and wealthy Arabs who don't have the balls to drive a Lamborghini and the second hand ones are always driven by "businessmen" in Essex.

I could also never, ever drive a Range Rover Sport based purely on the fact that the people who drove them are such odious individuals.
They're either the shaven-headed muscular gentlemen who run nightclubs or the security at nightclubs, or their orange and fake everything wives.

I had a Range Rover Sport once. The supercharged one. Black it was. With tinted windows. It wasn't anything like as good as the Cayenne Turbo S I had before.
I don't remember actually running all the doors in Loughton but my car choice back then suggests I must have done. I grew out of it.

Into what though? 😀
Don't mind the Macan?
Hate the Range Rover Evoque.

Currently an automatic 1.6 diesel Golf.
Having wasted a lot of precious time on motor cars I am now of the opinion that there are only two types of cars worth having; the utterly spectacular (73 RS, 250 GTO, NSX, F50 etc) or the thoroughly sensible (Golf, Yeti, a Kia of some sort). Anything In between is awkward vanity that ultimately leaves you unfulfilled.
I might write a pompous blog about it.

The Macan was designed purely to break into the mid sized "crossover" market currently dominated by the Japanese manufacturers.
Like the Range Rover Sport, the Range Rover Evoque isn't a proper Range Rover.
I'd have a Yeti tomorrow.

Aren't the lowered cars either on air or hydraulic suspension?

Looked after, those Lancia are amazingly over engineered.

M4. Top LOLS for half an hour, but overall, not overwhelmed. Interior didn't feel particularly different to my car, sun roof was nice. Amazed at how small they are inside. Larger paddle shifters are good.
Great fun to drive, made a great noise, not as fast as I was expecting it to be..... Did not like the all the attention it gets. Literally everybody stares at you at junctions. It was bright orange though.
6.5/10. Would not bang.

Disapointing.
Test drive aside, I need my next car to be the 435i xDrive.

I've never known why BMW paint their cars in such offensive colours.
70's colours should be on 70's cars.

Dealer also suggested I look at a 435i. Not really sure why though. I said the M4 didn't feel as big of a step up from my car as I thought it would be, both in feel, and performance. So he suggests I try a car with the same engine as my current one, but a shit load more weight. Does not compute.
They did have a second hand 2013 M3 for sale though which looked really nice. Keys for it were not available though..... Got me thinking.

Yes. 4 door is quite practical too!
-
• #25794
Was two door!
If I was to go to four doors would be an estate. If I was to get an estate, would have to be RS4! -
• #25795
The 2 door is sexy, I really enjoyed driving it, and it sounds good. PLS 2 BUY

Left hand headlight bulb gone, must buy new car.
-
• #25797
I have a 220d at the moment so i'm sure the 435i would definitely feel like a step up :)

Is a sweet brand new M3 in the showroom awaiting pick up... Special order painted in Ferrari's red paint at huge expense to the owner apparently. Looked good.

The last M3's are probably great cars.
Still not convinced about the M4.
