FWIW I would take a works Porsche over a RauWelt.
But not over dealership stock.
*Dreamworld*

Like I said, I generally couldn't give a shit what people drive, but new Ferrari and Lamborghini drivers are mostly cunts.
No real issue with 205 GTi/R5 Turbo/Golf GTi drivers.

To be fair I felt absolutely cool as fuck in my 205, there's something about uneconomical, expensive to insure old cars that overheat in traffic, that takes commitment
Bit like running an old scooter, you will go from hero to zero in half a second when that thing suddenly cuts out in the middle of the west end

And it will

Exactly the same stigma as fixehs.
If it is not a thoroughbred then it can't run low right?
We must all drive stock.
Wonder what the tuners think...

RauhWelt.
Now I'm usually one for live and let live, one man's meat etc, but those things are beyond even my levels of acceptance. They really are grim.

My M3 always managed to have issues in the Knightsbridge/Belgravia area - never anywhere else. It got pushed into a mews behind the Lanesborough Hotel where I proceeded to examine it over the course of a weekend. It looked positively young in comparison to some of the cars parked up along there. The coffin dodger who owned all the old cars had no issue with me leaving it there - he even said he'd keep his eye on it for me.

I used to go nuts for the RWBs but I too have seen the light. The styling is now OTT and since I saw the video of his "technique/skills", I'm properly put off.

What do you think of Bonneville btw?
Joe public modding cars to go faster.
Blatantly never really achieving it.
But loving the journey.
Hot Rods etc

I know that feeling. You go from cruising along in the sun, enjoying life, to frantically wheeling over to the side of the road and being giggled at by Italian tourists.

Which is better?
-
• #25764
Left. Clearly.
The one on the right looks like the Lego version.
-
• #25765
Obvs take the natty stickers off but I'd go right. #Fullretard etc

• #25766
I totally understand why people want to lower and mod etc.... but making stuff sit on the floor like that roofbox RS4 is just retarded, no matter how you look at it. It must drive like a dog.
Although, i did kind of like the Ford GT that the Gas Monkey guys did.
(and by the way, I think Fixeh bieks are pretty dumb too!)

The one on the right is only going to win Top Trumps contests though, so whats' the point of all the aero-tat?
It's either a race/track car, or it's a road car, try to make something that looks like it belongs on the track at the 24 hours and it's a bit posing pouch and crack wax when in Saino's car park.

Yeah, but if I can get my shopping in the front it's gotta be worth it. 😀

That Lotus is truly terrible.
-
• #25770
That abomination (Lotus) must have a bigger turning circle than an oil tanker - unless that's just a 'park' position and it lifts up to actually drive.

What do you think of Bonneville btw?
Loved him in Downton Abbey.
Srsly tho, I will go there one day. Like a ginger Anthony Hopkins on an Indian.

• #25772
That's not a Lotus...etc etc

• #25773
Seen.
Also seen The Master. Prob one of my favourite films. Flat out on the salt flats...that's when you find yourself...

Met Mr Turner at MTC back in the day...assuming your buddy the other Handle?
Aye man. As mentioned on several occasions I also used to own a 205 GTi so I'm used to people thinking I'm a wanker when I drive.
