Really, it's more like comparing a Guangzhou built Toyota with a Guangzhou built Honda :-)

it seems like everything is in some way made in China these days

Is that really a bad thing? I had a mate that worked in a Canadian Honda factory. One day he was so stoned that he accidentally trapped a bag of weed inside a door panel.
