• A kit question for y'all.

I'm in the happy position of having a new P5 Six frameset in the back of the car, which is a bit unnecessary given I already have a P2. I blame eBay, smartphones, a good dinner, and the decision to order the second bottle of wine. I justified the purchase to myself at the time on the basis that I'd transfer parts from the P2 and sell what's left, but that's not going to happen.

My original plan was also that I'd use the race wheels from the P2 on the P5 (Sub9 and 808 Firecrest tubulars) and swap them back when I wanted to use the P2. But it is a truth universally acknowledged that ain't nobody got time fo that.

Which by a roundabout route leads me to my question. Tubs or clinchers. Being a Zipp fanboy, I'm thinking Super9 and 808 for the P5, but if clinchers have a lower rolling resistance then surely I should be going for those. Any tubulars will be glued not taped, and any clinchers will have latex not butyl tubes. I'm not concerned about the risk of p*nct*res, inconvenience or any boring shit like that. Speed is my sole concern.

TL;DR - want speed, tubs or clinchers?
