  • I've got Defrosters. They're very good, not particularly breathable so your feet get a bit sweaty but I did 50 miles on Sunday with summer socks on and was toasty warm. They look the most waterproof of the winter boots I've looked at.

    Took a while to get used to but as comfy as my other Spesh shoes after a couple of weeks.

  • Yeah - I'm swaying toward the Spesh as two pairs of S-Works and a pair of Rime later they're still the only consistently comfy and true sized shoes I've ridden. Very tempted by the SIDI Hydro though - £155 on CRC - £10 off over £99 +10% BRCC Discount.....

  • Must admit I didn't see the Sidis when I was buying. I had to go down a size for the Defrosters, 44 vs 45 for my other Spesh.

  • I like my Hydros, but they're not especially warm. I tend to run them with electrically heated insoles though, so warmth is rarely an issue.
