  • alright skippy, keep yer speedos on...

  • More like Stiffy...

  • Christ, he's soiled his bag again...."Nurse!"

  • Everybody nerged...

  • Gothmarinerâ„¢ still going strong... #beeroclock

  • can someone ask Corney about the expensive G-shock please? I think I might be on ignore because football thread.

  • I'm still loving the old Russians until I have enough for the SKX

  • I have an expensive G Shock, what you wanna know?

  • That's reminded me that during a dream last night I used the compass function on my Casio. So useful they're even there when you're asleep.

  • General thoughts. I like the idea of an indestructible radio controlled solar powered watch but dam they are big. And, lets say, not to my taste.

  • When the apocalypse come though, I'll be tracking you down to cut it off your wrist.

  • How will you find him?

  • I've been following him around for years.

  • Watching and waiting

  • It's starting to get dull to tell the truth. I'm thinking of just getting a used one off ebay so I can get on with my life.

  • I'll give it a few more months then see how I feel.

  • Size isn't an issue for me, by I have a GX56 as well, and that's beast (also solar powered but not Radio Controlled, post apocalypse I will still have a choice of watches)

Lume is as shit as most seem to be, time keeping us obviously impeccable, functions are surprisingly usable, once you get used to the layout.
Alarm and countdown get daily use, stopwatch occasionally, dual time not so much.

I have the silver one and it's surprisingly shiney, and ostentatious.
Not sure I would spend £750 on a G Shock again, but luckily I will never have to, it's indestructible.

It's on my wrist 90% if the time, GX56 for exercise and SKX for interviews and subtle occasions.

    Buy one, they're great.

  • OKP of afore mentioned watch

  • Not really my brew in all honesty. A bit too busy for me.

  • I can no longer deny it, I like that G-Shock.

  • Almost acceptable - and probably the first G-Shock I've seen that I'd honour that highly. I doesn't even seem that mahoosive on the wrist (unless you have 12" wrists and a massive keyboard?)

Got to say though, really never got the G-Shock thing.

  • Casio Protrek, same kind of remote controlled, solar powered malarkey with added compass, barometer, temperature and altimeter.

  • I have also disliked them but see the point as a utilitarian solution for people who don't sit at a desk.
