I know that everyone'll waffle on about the merits of diesel and the fact that diesel cars have won Le Mans, but the simple fact is that Italian cars aren't supposed to be fuelled by diesel. Frankly I don't care whether they're these god-awful sports saloons or some twice-the-price Superleggera affair - they should't be diesel.
