Been thinking about this and the implications of someone elderly but still able to make independent travel by bike being suddenly dependant on public transport or switching to driving is huge. Even if she makes a physical recovery being brave enough to ride again is a big ask. Makes me think of all sorts of life-changing for the worse, I hope that isn't the case.
