Looks like we have more demand than supply, please continue to put your name down, in case we have drop out!
I will Email Blaze and show them this thread and hopefully they can do us a deal, shall report later.

Am I wrong about it pointing at the ground? It looks like a stupid decision to make it perpendicular to the mount, when bicycles tend to have angled seat posts.
-
• #29
Perhaps if Blaze look here they might try to answer that.
-
• #30
I don't know since I have not seen it, I hope the 180 degree spread of the light should compensate the angle where the light is pointing.
Anyway this is going to be on my messenger bag so I am not too fussed.

IMO this is the best rear light around.
If Blaze are so good why is that green laser bike shaped image front pointy thing such a dog's dinner? Have they done any research on whether it helps cyclists or drivers or confuses them?
-
• #32
I'm sure you can flip it around like with any seat clamp.
Besides having 100lumens facing straight you'd be blinding people behind you. The point is to be visible and not other way round.

• #33
@vinylpimp how will it attach to your bag? The kickstarter just shows a seatpin clamp, no?
-
• #34
100 lumens is actually too bright anyway.
-
• #35
No, every image shows it to be perpendicular.

Get yourselves a dynamo. All the cool kids have them now.

I'd rather look at this up front

Than this

Again. You prob don't get the point.
You can spend £600 and get Cateye Volt 6000 lum and blind the car drivers approaching you!!!
Once again, it's for the purpose of to be seen rather than to see where you going.
I'm sure I'm far away from being called a "kid" these days. How about you? -

Im in for a front light please

I have an official response from Blaze and I will carry on taking names 21st onward, but you would have to pay full price £25 as I cannot make an order over £500 paying more than 60% of the costs.
Hi Hon,
Thanks for getting in touch, and how super organised of you to coordinate efforts :)
Of course it's no problem - if there's more than 20 of you, we'd be happy to honour the price of £25 for everyone else. All you need to do is manually increase the pledge level by £25 increments (you can change your pledge level all the way up to when the campaign closes on 18 December when it will lock).Burners can be in any combination of black or silver casing, white or red LEDs, not a problem (we're also taking backer votes on a third casing colour option). I see there were a few questions on the thread too which I'll answer quickly here, but you'll also be able to see a lot more info on the backer-only updates when you make a pledge.
Attachment options - our backers were most interested in other ways to attach the Burner. So now the Burner will ship with a seat post mount as seen in the vid, AND a free second bracket option because we met our £100k stretch goal. There is a strong bag clip for attaching the Burner to a bag, jersey pocket or belt loop (you guys saw the prototype on our Instagram). There's also a bracket that can attach to smaller diameter tubes e.g. seat stays, rear carriers etc. If people would like multiple brackets for multiple bikes, more than what we will send to everyone as standard, then they're just £7.50 extra. Angling - the angle of the Burner bracket can be adjusted to compensate for seat tube angle. The rubber insert that you would use to protect your frame is bulbous and the inside of the mount is spherical, so it can account for this angle. Orientation - in the vid, the Burner is always horizontally mounted, but it is able to attach horizontally or vertically. Settings - 100lm is the brightest output the light can give. We'll keep this mode for the people who need it, but since the Burner's programming is yet to be finalised we'll be adding different modes based upon what our early adopters want and need.
I will check about engraving and how we could offer this, but for such a big order I'm sure there's something we can do.
Please let me know if you have any further questions, thoughts etc!
All the best,
Rachel. - knyazb

great response there. angling sounds OKish
get them to engrave all of them with LFGSS and some stupid quote containing genitaly based swear words. -

I currently have an exposure blaze as a rear light. other than looking like a mini fire hydrant, it is pretty much the bomb in my books.
I'm in need it posted tho , black - back
