Hate to get into the tattoo care chat again but, if it's 2months old and you are still using bepanthen, perhaps that's what's causing the bumps.
Bepanthen is far too oily, I use it for the first 3 to 4 days, and then switch to something like Vaseline intensive care moisturiser, which is more water based.
Anyone on here suffer with psoriasis? I have a tiny amount that comes and goes depending on stress and season. It has sadly done a number on a tat on my ankle but that was damaged anyway when I smashed a load of flesh off it when drunk so hey ho, life experience and all that.
Annoyingly I noticed this morning that a couple of tiny bumps are forming on the line of my new tat(less than 2 months old so not fully healed). Never had a problem on that part of my body before so pretty bummed out about it. The bumps are less than 3mm across so it could just be slow healing on the tat but my paranoia is up over it!
Thoughts on whether I should be using my psoriasis ointment(prescription oily stuff that seems to work) or stick with bepanthen for a bit longer?
Probably more a question for my gp or a tattooist but thought I'd ask on here in case anyone has had a similar experience on a fresh tat? None of my other tats have caused this reaction..
