  • I exercise regularly and go to the gym often. Im also trying to 'bulk'. I am worried if I cut out all animal proteins I will loose a lot of weight.

There's a whole bunch of info online about vegan body building. Spend a bit of time understanding the science and it'll probably work out.

I am allergic to nuts, thus I will miss out on a massive non animal protein source here.

Plenty of other proteins available: soy (tempeh, tofu, regular old edamame etc.), beans, greens, pulses (quinoa, buckwheet, lentils etc.), mushrooms and there's always spirulina... (if you don't mind everything being green)

I am worried that the meals will get boring and repetitive

You can usually veganise a lot of the stuff you already eat, eating seasonal veg is probably better for you and is an easy way to force yourself to try new things throughout the year. Failing that avocado and hotsauce will improve pretty much every meal.

I am twenty years old, and I have been eating animals and their products for as long as I can remember.

    Got to start somewhere!

Its nearly christmas and I am going to miss turkey dinner tremendously.

I've been trying to perfect a vegan wellington for the last couple of years, it's always tasted great but I've never got the presentation quite right. Don't have to worry about it being dry and overcooked either!

  • amazing. my girlfriend rants on about the magical thing that is 'spirulina' as much as I do about bikes. Will have to do some research tonight me thinks...

    Thanks Andy!
