WTF - WTF must be the dullest podcast I've ever tried to listen to.
Depends who's on it. He can be a really good host and get people to really open up and find him funny when he's on form. The Bob Mould (90s rawk throwback AGAIN) was great for example. I find the never ending parade of old buddy New York club comedians soul-destroying unfunny though. I thought the Obama interview was a disappointment too. Timing didn't help. It was right after the Charleston Church shooting.
I do find Maron occasionally lets his guard down and allows a latent sexism/misogyny to sneak out. Maybe that's me being overly sensitive having mentally put him in that category but every time I think back to an interview where I noticed, "Oh man, he actually sounds bored and totally disinterested in what this person has to say, it's ALWAYS been a woman". Kim Gordon, Lake Bell are a couple of recent examples.
He's a hot mess of a man. But I find him endearing and entertaining more often than not.
Can you recommend me some other good podcasts? In the podcast thread perhaps?

^^Great journalising. Enjoyed the "article" at the bottom detailing the 10 best 4x4 and SUVs. Presumably to sit in whist in stationary traffic, travelling in and out of Leeds.

That 4x4 and SUV article was probabky promoted to you based on your browsing history and interests.
I got "articles" about naked celebrities and cooking equipment.
I'm not proud.
