  • Thanks - I'm on their mailing list but didn't get this...

  • They just sent it to us, not on their facebook yet, but we were told we could share it.

  • for some reason, i'm looking at shrink to fit Levi's. Isn't it really fucking annoying they're dirt cheap in the states, but shipping doubles the price?

  • It was the "shipping doubles the price" bit I was on about.

  • 2 years ago I bought some White Oak cone denim Norse Project jeans - which were great and everything. My girlfriend kindly washed them :'(

NP did a washed denim last year/early this year which looks exactly the same as mine now do (I can't find an image)

I was just wondering if they would have just washed a load of their old stock?

  • Also it's too late now but Goodhood do a yard sale once of twice a year and you can usually get some really nice denim for £20-60.

  • She had good reasons I'm sure.

  • I was just wondering if they would have just washed a load of their old stock?

quite likely. denim isn't that complicated, actually; after you wash it it's 'washed'.

read up on 'vintage fades' (there was a post on the denimhunters blog iirc), it's the new big thing.
then stop worrying and enjoy your jeans!

  • Anyone got any suggestions for Navy Chino Selvedge with a relaxed cut

  • thanks for this, went to it, was underwhelmed by the denim on display, felt like I got better value for money, and better quality jeans from the natural selection sample sale, but brought some shirts and some sweat shirts, so wasn't a total waste...

  • How do people store/hang their selvedge? I must have a dozen or more pairs in circulation and wardrobe space is at a premium.

  • Save your concern for woolen suits.

  • This is an issue for me because having them in a box/drawer makes the smell worse.

I think you have to hang them, but I've got my softer selvedge in the drawer the stiffer stuff is hung up - less than ideal. New house should have a dressing room, so hopefully resolve this issue.

  • Something along these lines.

Except in a dark room, with good ventilation. Blackout blinds and floor fan on a low speed usually work well.

  • Another good tip is to wrap the metal clips on the hangers with tape to make sure the pressure doesn't mark the denim.

  • T h e y a r e j e a n s. W e a r t h e m.

  • What about the ones not currently in circulation?

    The struggle is real

  • Folded in into thirds and put inside wardrobe on shelf.

After they've been worn for the day I leave them out for a day to air (I should really hang them but I don't). It is sufficient.

  • Buy a pair of nice jeans. Wear them everyday for three or four years.

    Repeat.

Overnight storage is on the floor of the bedroom where they fall as I go to bed.

  • I bet you get shouted at.

  • Overwhelming reason the above posts as to why selvedge isn't fore as I have the sweatiest crotch in Christendom and it's hard enough washing normal jeans let alone letting slelvedge ones hang and air, fuck that shit!
