Freelance innit. Monday off sounds like a brilliant idea.
Recruiters have a fit when I say I'll accept the permanent job offer at pro rata salary for 4 days. I have no idea why. I've seen so many parents doing this; do I have to breed to be able to work less (and earn less)?

I work condensed hours 8-5 and get 1 day off every two weeks, it is much better than 9-5 Mon-Fri!

Tomorrow (saturday) morning an Oxford rider who doesn't know London very well (me) plans to ride from Marylebone station to Canonbury area and back to pick up some handlebars. Anyone fancy joining me for a short spin?

Update. It now looks like it's turned into Regents Park - Canonbury - Hampstead Heath possibly with a pub stop on the way.

Just got an entry number for london-brighton off road today, so I'm heading down soon....anyone else doing it? I wanted to do this anyway, so thought I might as well.....

tomorrow morning #slackermiles lunch/coffee ride to velo house in tunbridge wells anyone keen? Maybe 9-ish Layhams/Nash lane.

For anyone interested in loops around Epping Forest into Essex from East London. I ride most Saturday's, usually on geared old steel, sometimes single. Riding tomorrow, 50 miles or thereabouts, big wind expected on way out. Relaxed pace, all welcome, 10.30am Lea Bridge Road roundabout.
