  • fitted crud road racer MK2 to my Dolan.
    snapped of the rear tail wheeling my bike upright through the flat (no option to not do this)

    I never even got to ride it in any real rain when it was in one piece, but after a fewrides without that last tail I've had to fit an ass saver to as my bum is getting soaked.

    I cant see how this is happening though, even without the tail, looks like it should cover it, so do you think it's because there's no break caliper? any suggestions?

  • Anything leaving the tyre above the 3 o'clock position will have a forward vector greater than the speed of the bike i.e. the spray is travelling faster than you are. Physics is against you if you need that part of the wheel clear for wheeling through your flat...
    Removable flap or extension? Something ingenious involving velcro or press studs?
