So, would it be cheating to get some serious miles in at an indoor velodrome? I'm only asking as potentially I've got 5 hours riding time at the UCI velodrome in Aigle on the 30th January. Could rack up quite a few kms.

Velodrome sounds good. Just rebook for a more roundel friendly date.

Hmm... shithouse weather on 24th (was hoping to get a good 150km in to kick it all off), plus the sense that it may be a bit of a chore rather than enjoyable, is starting to dampen my enthusiasm for this.

Still love the idea of an Xmas morning spin though. But think I may end up burning a few family bridges if i do that. Although i could live with that... i think...
