I went for the medium 29er too. It arrived today, happyface, I feel a Wee bit like I stole it at £279.
I've had a SS mtb before but moved it on due to the comedy gearing and therein lies the rub. I have a fixed road bike at around a 68' gear its able to get me over just about anything and 70 odd miles of a Sunday is no problem. So, the road bike is practical and useable on a daily basis.
A SS mtb though, it's just a toy isn't it.

Lots of nice things, combined into a melting, anti-porn bike.

So, I got the Verenti round the trails for the first time today, and am so happy with it! I pushed the limits of my (albeit fairly average) MTB skills pretty hard and basically spent the whole ride smiling ear to ear. I will probably pop a slightly wider and gripper front tyre on, and swap the cranks out for some more aesthetically pleasing ones. other than that its perfect out the box!

Is it the 27.5 or 29er?

medium 29er, Most the stuff round here is just twisty singletrack, not that rough and not many drops or jumps so its perfect. just rolls real fast through everything.

Got some tyres going cheap, if you're interested :-)

Can confirm, Rek is not lying, that thing is mad fun.
Had my full suss out with a mashed groupset and he smoked me along every path and every incline, could only get infront on more technical downhill.
Clearly a rather competent bike (and rider....) -

Apologies for low res phone pic but I think it looks pretty good after changing the rubbish stem it came with. I also taped over some of the branding with green leccy tape to make it a bit less obviously 'wiggle' ;-) Having blasted round the woods on it I've decided that 680mm is actually plenty wide enough, so the bars are staying for now.

That looks a lot better than the Wiggle picture.
£275 :-/

worth it then?

For sure. You'd struggle to find better for the price or even build better from second hand bits.
