Also Auchan did sell bikes in the early 90s, god knows what fake brand it was, with campag groupset. Seen it with my own eyes. Not that it was a guarantee of a good bike, but campag on a supermarket machine...
Some Rockriders were far from being crap. I remember they even had for a short while a titanium MTB, sub 10 Kilo, in the mid/ late nineties...
