Hi guys. I got a gopro hero 3 black edition a few months back. Make one or two vids and always take it out when I'm out most places.
Currently in the moment of making a time lapse which I'm finding good but time consuming due to my crap laptop.

Anyway. All snaps & video gopro created are welcome in this thread if there isn't one already.

Don't really hang around. But we ride around the town centre and then head out towards the countryside.
Iv got handle bar, chest, helmet and other mounts.
Can be picked up cheap on ebay usually

Ha! I've left a couple of teeth an plenty of skin in that park. Hated that rail.
Went to DumbMontfort, so spent many an hour there.

I gave up trying to skate on that park aha not a bad place though in the summer

soserious, you gotta come down to capitol and live with us. though that countrysiede fresh air must be rather special to you, we got lot more going on, for e.g. when i am bored i go to city centre and impromptuly race with bike messengers whilst receiving verbal abuse from them.

I'm getting my wife a GoPro for Christmas, the Hero + LCD, can anyone tell me if it's essential to have a mount of some sort to use with it and which is the best value in your experience? She will mostly be shooting footage by hand.

I'm getting my wife a GoPro for Christmas, the Hero + LCD, can anyone tell me if it's essential to have a mount of some sort to use with it and which is the best value in your experience? She will mostly be shooting footage by hand.

What will she be shooting footage of? Will she want to shoot whilst moving? If stationary, then any hand grip will do. I would really only recommend a gopro for shooting sports or underwater. For general holiday videos, a camera with a narrower field of view would be better. The gopro is very wide angle and anything further than a few meters away appears very small on the picture.

She likes making short films, just a hobby, she's done her research and this is what she wants.

So would a basic hand grip off eBay do the job ok? There are some on there for less than £5.
