Does anyone know if the KG 381 takes a 1" or 1 1/8th" fork?
Cheers,

How does this even happen?
He says the clamp ears on the seat lug cracked. Not a total surprise for a highly stressed and ancient piece of aluminium which was probably fairly carelessly designed 25 years ago.

Well the fix looks decent enough :/ His optimistic BIN of £700 now reduced to a more realistic starting bid of £20.

Ah cheers!
Anyone got a 56cm KG381 they want to sell me?

the KG451 is a beauty!
http://www.bricklanebikes.co.uk/look-kg-451-road-bikeobviously BLB are a little over priced but even so.

That is the worst version of the Look logo ever.

I like that one! Kind of looks like the modern TIME logo. That bike is hugely overpriced. Who would actually pay what they're asking for that?!?

yeah, fucking BLB. everything in their shop is ridiculous.
I'm not a fan of the logo's on my 585 either. it's the only thing I don't like about it. -

Not personal experience but there's always so much lush stuff on there.

I really don't need this temptation, but I am curious about this KG171 in Cambridge that seems like a real bargain with the loveliest ever 9 speed groupset: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Look-LG-171-carBon-team-dUra-ace-7700-groupset-racer-bicYcle-AMAZING-BIKE-/281874732776?hash=item41a10b16e8:g:gTQAAOSwfZ1WYKAj

Here's mine. Just finished it this week and got the first 150km done at the weekend. All very nice. Frame purchased off LFGSS too.
It is part of a larger project - I've had a Felt F5 for a couple of years and feel the desire to upgrade wheels, groupset, stem, bars... so thought I'd have a go at building (and learning to build) a frame up from scratch by using some old and some new components to satisfy the n+1 rule.
Maybe not the most classic of LOOKing Looks, but fun and good looking nonetheless (I think)

That was odd. That KG171 was for sale a couple of weeks ago elsewhere at £400 but didn't sell, then sold for £660 even though there was a parallel auction with a BIN of £550.

Could be selling by KG176 (maroon 55 square) built up with 8sp Campag, anodised box section rims, soon.
Is £600 about right? (not my bike / pic - purely to illustrate paint scheme - nice and understated).
Hope Ti hub on TB14 anodised rear/ Mavic 501 front/ Cream Ti Flite/ Michelin Pro race tyres/ Campag Veloce mix (UT chainset)/ NOS indexed Downtube shifters/ Giro d'italia bars/ A1 stem/ Modolo aero levers - lovely light fast Saturday bike - just running out of space as I have a new addition coming.

hmm... I think it is priced a little on the high side but I'll let others comment as I'm after a 55/56cm Look... I'd be interested in pictures!
Cheers,

I'll post some pics up - it's a bit different with the DT shifters and aero levers - I love it but need the space.
