any torx recommendations or stick with hex/allen?

You really need to look at the nuts, there's no point having Torx screws if you still have crappy slotted nuts. Truvativ steel ones with hex both sides are good, if you are a weight weenie then POP do aluminium ones with Torx both sides

Yeah, My XT crank came with these, a shame I need bolts for a 5 bolt pattern. Or maybe I should buy 2 sets and keep 3 spare? The POP ones look good though for true weeniesm. Cheers @mdcc_tester and @svendhöek
