They're at the same height and position as the bars on my Emonda, don't quite understand why people tilt traditional drops upwards - the drop is perfect parallel to the floor

I'm normally the no1 preacher for slam and drop on a stem, but I just don't think I could manage a -17 on here - let alone removing those three spacers. The geometry is very different to anything I've ever ridden and the head tube is deceptively small! It's very comfortable at the moment but I'll see how it feels after a nice long ride tomorrow!

I rarely see trad bars set up with the drop section parallel to the ground; most people prefer to build a shelf with the brake hoods continuing a line that starts with the top of the bar.

-17 and bars without a drop to the hoods would mean the hoods wouldn't move down any

Yeah, I was always an obsessive with compact short shallow bars, tried a pair of TB and never looked back.

I really like the little hook above the hoods!
