Curious as to why the rear has the logo like that? Is it some sort of special edition? or re-stickered?

The rear discwheel is a khamsin: it has four bolts in the hub. The ghibli ones have six bolts :)

That's crazy! Very, very nice and superb job on the restoration; lovely thread.
This thing deserves a better camera an nice background/location though.
What's still left to do? Toeclips/straps?

What's still left to do?
Taking a hacksaw to the handlebars :-)
LA84 is easily the best bullhorn in the history of the universe, but they left the factory with a good 3" of surplus material on the ends.

The 'surplus material' is only surplus if you don't want it. They had the extra not because they couldn't be bothered to remove it but so it could be trimmed or not as the rider liked.
My Tommasini has uncut LA84's that are track version and have even more surplus material than monoglazes uncut example. -

OMG pure PORN great thread couldn't imagine it turning out like this when looking back at the fist pictures 👌

Wow. This is a really nice bike! Good job.

Completely bonkers looking, and in a totally perfect way. Nice one.

Incredible!! I wouldn't change a thing, uncut LA84's are the ducks nuts.

This is awesome!
But try and find period images of uncut LA84's.... They're hard to come by. It's inefficient to have excess material on competition bicycles.
What wheels are you going with?
