yeah something like that, SiSL2 is the lightest.

is there a crank with just SISL written on it? I haven't seen one... I think.

Edit: ah yeah I get ya. I suspect those 'sisl' cranks are actually jus the new Si crank but with a different graphic.

Edit2: oh wait, no. Apparently in 2013 they were still making SISL and SISL2 cranks. So the crank with 'SL' written on it and the crank with the new SISL graphic are actually the same.

Si old - 99pc of them are silver but the occasional ltd edition black ones kick around
Si new, with new Si logotype. Black / Purple
SiSl - graphic is just a large 'SL' or for 2013 'SISL' in the new logotype. Black or Silver
SiSl2 - all black, maybe some ano versions around

Is the lineup possibly by weight / stiffness

Ironically I've had no dealings with CSG UK - I think TF are mostly responsible for this clusterfuck. Which is a shame because from what I've heard they are good people.

Cannondale themselves have no visibility of this saga either.

I have to think carefully about who I royally piss off to get this resolved.

My instinct is avoid new lefties for the mid term - not just because of my experience but because of the new airspring that's coming out in Dec.

So I won an SL crankset on the bay for a steal (I think?), no rings or spider, which is perfect as I'm going to be using a P2M. A shame it's an extra $200 for the hollowgram P2M instead of the S900 P2M spider, and I need special tools that cost huge amounts! I heard that there was some person on ebay selling custom made dale crank tools...does anyone know anything about that?

Weird review, that. I suppose he's right about the Lefty - if they'd gone with a headshok it would be half as interesting, visually, even though the same travel could be achieved and you could use normal hubs + QR or 15mm maxle.

Back in the day, I used to have a 2008 Badboy Rohloff, to which I added a Lefty and rebuilt with 26" wheels. It served as an XC machine for a couple of years before being broken down to get something else.
In hindsight I should have hung onto it, awaited the 650b revolution, and fitted drops.
