Do you have any proof of this or is it just known? Managing in League 2 (for example) may be so different than managing in La Liga that it may not really be comparable. How many current successful managers cut their teeth in the lower leagues?

big leap by Gary Neville as well, which is commendable for heading abroad to a relatively big club in Spain as his first management job, and even though he's got his badges and has been on the england coaching staff, still think this is a disaster waiting to happen...
