Better to get his management legs in the lower leagues, before sitting in the super hot seat of bigger clubs fallen on hard times and looking for a savior.

Do you have any proof of this or is it just known? Managing in League 2 (for example) may be so different than managing in La Liga that it may not really be comparable. How many current successful managers cut their teeth in the lower leagues?
