Hi - hoping some Colnago folks can help me identify this frame. I think it's an Ovalmaster, but have some doubts (e.g. top tube isn't crimped).

Is anyone familiar with this type of wheel? Thinking of buying it as it's kind of what I'm after but don't want to pay over the odds for it. Cheers!
Sticker on hub says campione del mondo 622x15c Taiwan 6061 1950-51. So not particularly promising but hopefully its not crap..

Can you help to identify these Panasonic track frame with Threadless Reynolds Steel Fork that is partially chromed and has Campagnolo Dropouts with Eyelets . Fork possibly came off a Raleigh or Lenton Sports Frame and is not original . Frame dimensions are 54 center to center seat tube and 56 cm center to center top tube . Rear spacing is 120 mm and front wheel spacing is 100 mm. Frame angles are approximately 73 seat tube angle and 73.5 head angle. Frame has Suntour track style rear dropouts. 25.4 seatpost

Threadless? sure it's not a ahead/quill adaptor? Could just be a mega-long steerer from a big frame though
Bottle bosses, rear brake drilling and rear brake cable routing make it look like a possible conversion - lugs don't look wildly posh - what makes you thing it's a panasonic? -

so said the seller

• #4914
...then of them gaspipe ones. looks like cheap conversion with thick powdercoat. just for fun and giggles, what does he ask for it?

Afternoon,
I recently acquired a cheap-oh frame to build up as a single speed to commute on as a bit of a change from the CX I ride now. Happy to do a build post here, but won't start a thread now as a) this is my first post and b) it will take me ages to start on it properly.
I did wonder if anyone knows anything at all about the frame (apologies if this is the wrong thread). It's a Cyril Guimard tourer (i assume - knowledge impaired on... bikes), seems fairly lo spec in that it's not butted tubing and isn't the lightest thing in the world (no frame sticker). It's french (obviously), not lugged, and that's about was much as i know. There's nothing on the internet about the bikes carrying his name as far as i can tell. I could guess that it might be a re-branded Gitane or something, but i'd probably be wrong. Here's a crap photo and some pre-emptive gratitude.

I had a few Cyril Guimard and it is just a run of mill bike which is most likely made of 10-20 steel like most Motobecane bike.
IIRC these were made by France-Loire in St Etienne in France. -

Have you ever used Google before??
The make and model are shown on the photo... Muddy Fox Traveller Tourist.
Google Search comes up with a link that says it is from 1990:
http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=197509And a link to the Muddy Fox 1990 Catalogue with all the info:

Cheers for the info - that's more than I'd managed to find so far!
Yeah it's a pretty basic frame, but there's something I like about it.

Hi,
Can anyone help me identify this frame?
Really light steel, lighter than a 531. Campagnolo drop outs front and rear.
Tight clearances.
It has a wrap around seat stay and a distinctive square ended seat clamp.
It has EO stamped on the bottom bracket with the frame number 3032780.
Apologies for the terrible photos. Any hints would be appreciated.
Thanks

Does anyone have an idea of the model of this Mercier touring bike? I can't find too much info online. It has Mafac Racer brake components and Simplex gears. The seat post has been replaced with a modern one. It has front and rear mudguards with pannier racks, and front and rear dynamos & lights. It also came with a pouch that mounts to the handlebars. Any info about this bike would be much appreciated! A bunch of photos can be viewed by clicking on this link (I wasnt able to attach them directly for some reason). https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B_4K0yxbwYCIVWtFTGEyVWVUZFE&usp=sharing
