Boring out the centre of the bar for the lugs. Without 'boring' (BANTZ) you with numbers it's greater than an interference fit due to the process I use to bond carbon and steel.

Angle makes it look slightly more monstrous than real life. Not much though. Wheels fits. Going to smear them in cancer glue and leave to set, probably for 8 weeks it is so cold in the workshop. I do love a new standard it's true @BareNecessities!
