Mudguards and this'd be an ace commuter.

you reckon you can get guards on with those brakes? IME 35c (maybe 38) with a 45mm guard is max for mini V ..

Yeah not likely with this setup. Brakes, Fatboys, Fenders. Choose two. Cantis would probably do in a pinch, or could just go brakeless fixed, but no way fenders are gonna fit both the mini-Vs and the (45c!) Fatboys.
