That's a real shame! Glad you were enjoying them though. Does the doc think they've contributed to the problem at all?

Not specifically those headphones, but the audiologist did say in ear headphones are not good if you already have hearing issues. I don't know if there's any research been done into it, but I do know that I listen to music much louder than other people, because of my hearing problems, so I've definitely exacerbated it through my own actions.

Have been absolutely loving my PL50 but sadly the audiologist has scared me off using them. I've had hearing problems since I was a kid but I haven't been for a hearing test in about 20 years. To preserve what's left of my hearing in my left ear, the audiologist said don't use in ear headphones any more.
Guess I'll have to buy some HD25s!
