These crashes are always a reminder that heavy lorry operation presents a high risk for pedestrians, too.
It does seem to happen quite often that a crash involving a pedestrian is initially misreported as involving a cyclist.
All best wishes for her. Even if the injuries were not life-threatening, it still sounds as if she must have been very badly injured.
