If you like I'll send you some chamois cream which you can use to lube yourself up. You'll slide right in to a XL.

No rain jackets or hardshell in sale ;( wet winter gruber remains...
-
• #23507
would it be swappable or are they different garments?
-
• #23508
Different. You can't buy an old PTSS on discount and swap it for a new one next week.
-
• #23509
put a soft-shell through the wash with some grangers and tumble dry it
-
• #23510
But when will the be lairy patterned PT softshell overshoes? Thats what the world really needs.
-
• #23511
Will that work to the same extent as the rain specific ones?
I quite fancy an old gold or burnt orange hardshell tho-just don't have the pennies cor new and keep missing out on used ones on ebay :/
-
• #23512
it works ok. I did it to my gf's soft-shell. it wears off, but I didn't think it did any faster than the covering on my rain jacket. ime only the hardshell is properly waterproof
-
• #23513
When are they doing a reissh of the fixed top?
That's what the world really wants to know. -
• #23514
Trouble with the Hardshell is you end up soaked with sweat as there isn't any breathability. The plus of that jacket is how robust it is. I had a crash in mine that left me off the bike for three months, but the jacket got minimal damage.

It's one of my failing 'projects'.

This and the windproof shirt, its one of my favourite items and always gets good comments.

I can be your "edgy, used to be skinny, commuter dad" model if you need help.

Touring shorts - fit true to size in the waist?

Your sense of self is broken

It looks like the measurement is taken from around your navel according to the diagram, mulling over a pair of fat bastrd 36 in grey
-
• #23521
Thanks, but I'm definitely a commuter Dad....
-
• #23522
What does that do to the breathableness of it then? I'm intrigued, as the hardshell is a bit of a manky sweatbox even on short commutes, but as @clem-fandango said, very durable.

TTS for me
-
• #23524
yeah, I'm alway kind of cold but the hardshell isn't for warm rides that's for sure. I'm sure it'd be more useful in a climate where it's regular under 0 degrees
For commuting in the cold/rain I'd buy the hardshell and for rainy long rides a gabba...
The soft-shell my gf has, has the zippable armpit vents, so breathability isn't so much of a problem.

Oh hai!
so order the xtra small and then swap it when the real sizes arrive? is the fit the same as the pro team jacket
