True. From what I can tell they achieve the weight but using an old skool rim width and lowish spoke count, which does make me wonder if they would survive riders over 80kg (me). For example the pretty bomb-proof fulcrum Quattro wheelset has roughly the same profile and price, but weighs 1725g (240g more)
Ultimately is can save 300g by drinking less beers. However I cannot afford to replace my training wheels every 3 months!
I like the look of the 32mm set 1485g is v. light
