With all this rain, the Langdale is getting a it rusty. Any solutions?

"leave it" is probably going to be typical answer in this thread

you could strip it of the rust then clear coat the bare (now rust free) areas of the tubing

i didnt know whether it would do lasting damage to the frame if i left it?

Looks like the dropouts will snap off at the first bump.

Lol. My first bike build was made in the same way... You gotta start somewhere

Ive also got a few rust patches to take care off. Is it best to use a rust inhibitor or just rub it down and clear coat it? I think you can use clear nail varnish, right?
-
• #12860
You can also use linseed oil after you scrubbed the rust off but in time it turns to sticky yellowish coat
Rattle can paint/clear coat or nail varnish is cheapest solutions. Prep the surface with rust buster or anti rust primer and you're sorted.

You gotta post more pictures of that.
EDIT: Just realised thats not an actual pic of your first build.

Sure, make the seat stays join that seat tube where it's at its thinnest.Unsafe bike is unsafe.

I would bet that this has been posted here a thousand times but it popped up my IG timeline again
At least I think that it has posted here before. It's that Cannondale with the Starbucks cup in the front wheel, right?
Fucking legend.
