Not with the right base layer ..
I have PT Jacket and PT Softshell; the former is warmer.Maybe wait for shadow or the new PT softshell, if you don't like either of them just get PT Jacket.

I've already got a soft shell and a Gabba. My soft shell is too large for me, having lost a bit of weight recently, so I'm looking to replace. Should I get another soft shell or is a PT jacket the way to go?
The soft shell only really gets used for seeing clients around the city of I'm on my bike, as I find it too hot on club runs and definitely too hot on solo rides. Is a PT jacket basically a tighter soft shell without the waterproofing?
I suspect the soft shell will make an appearance on snowy/wintery club runs. Will a PT jacket be too cold/not waterproof for this?
They're both basically the same price used, at around £100 but I don't want to double up on the Gabba.
