not even with an internal routed wire handlebar? My tornova can pass a cable inside from one side to the other...

My mate just about got a cable from lever, into bar, out at the stem, back in on the other side of the stem, then out an into the other lever. Its a bit shit.
If you can get it all the way around. Well played.

Should I be worried about battery life on a 3 yo 6770 group? It's been used only in summer, but mileage is unknown.

• #1255
Probably not.

Had a play with SRAM eTap at the Rouleur Classic today. Lovely mechanical feel to the shifters and the build quality is top notch, not sure about the double lever front mech shifting though.

any significant delay between pressing the lever and shifting?
-
• #1258
I didn't notice any delay.

it should work fine

I clicked through the link on your listing but there's nothing there...

I am thinking about running Ultegra Di2 rear mech (1x11) with only DIY sprint buttons. My initial plan is running momentary buttons built into my TRP Hylex brakelevers on the front of the levers.
One for shifting down and one for shifting up. Pretty simple system.
Besides rear mech and battery, what do I need in order to make this work?I don't like this:
I want to keep the hoods uncut and frame as clean as possible.Re battery I am thinking about doing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne41_UEEcI4

You'll need a junction A box.
Look into cateye remote buttons for shifters. There's a few guides on forums.

This is with 10 speed. 11 speed requires a bit more care:

momentary buttons
What about using them as bar end shifters?
Might be more straightforward to test the system out.

It is really important to me to me able to shift from the hoods. Otherwize I would just stick with my mtb shifter solution.
-

Fair enough.
I wonder if it would be possible to fit gloves with wireless buttons... Then you could shift from any position.

Hey!
This was my idea up thread.
Would be cool though.

Bum.
Id be tempted to just buy the climbers buttons and strip them down.
Im lazy though.

Hello friendly knowledgeable forumites,
Can you use climbing buttons with R785? Need to plug them into a 5 port junction box right? -

Oh and is anyone using DFly for transmitting to their Garmin to see what gear you're in?
-
• #1274
Uhhh I might do this :-)
Edit: Actually no. This doesn't make any sense
I am liking this and this:

^(top image) Are those real hoods? Shit tape job.
this works. But linking the shifters isnt that clean looking.
