• I'm sure I will fondly remember the days when I was able to mind my own business and traverse E&C roundabout in all of about 3 seconds.

Unfortunately I already fondly remember the days when St.Georges Rd was 4 lanes of happy and freely moving traffic.

Now it's standstill because of the segregated cycle lane that about two people use on the RIGHT hand side of the road so if you want to use it and turn left/go straight ahead you have to cut up two lanes of traffic on the exit. Have nearly died - wouldn't use again.

    RIP E&C #nva4gt #tearz4eva

  • I've only recently started having to use that bit so don't know what it was like before but it's moronic now.

Big wide two way bike lane on the right is ridiculous and under-utilised.

Stop lights (and presumably go lights for bikes coming from the left) with no light control at all for bikes going straight on, so absolutely 100% chance of t-bone crashes.

Lane ends abruptly absolutely nowhere useful.

Followed a lady wearing high viz everything as she tried to squeeze between a huge dumper truck thing and two buses. Suggested she didn't the first time and she stopped, then suggested it the second time and she went for it anyway. Slowly and wobbly, inches from death and apparently entirely oblivious.

She then entered the E&C roundabout and positioned herself to the left of a left indicating bus whilst she rode around the roundabout indicating right. Blew my mind.
