you don't really see fps at all. It's very complicated, but yes I can tell difference between 144 / 60 / 30 . Some people cannot. Feel free to google 30 60 fps ... you'll find lots of stuff.
That said Movies != Video Games. Very very different visual feature set. I wanted a 144 fps monitor but they are quite expensive, 60 is fine but I def notice lower

Can people really see more than 60fps? Movies are half that or am I going crazy?
Edit: just googled. Good people can see 240+ frames per second. Think my eyes are locked down to about 24. For Cherno.
