quite likely. denim isn't that complicated, actually; after you wash it it's 'washed'.
read up on 'vintage fades' (there was a post on the denimhunters blog iirc), it's the new big thing.
then stop worrying and enjoy your jeans!

2 years ago I bought some White Oak cone denim Norse Project jeans - which were great and everything. My girlfriend kindly washed them :'(
NP did a washed denim last year/early this year which looks exactly the same as mine now do (I can't find an image)
