I have just come across this seat pin in one of my old track bikes and have to confess I never noticed the NJS stamp on the back , are these seatpins fairly commonplace or a bit unusual ?

I always have a plan with my bikes :) This frame will get a super record group (NJS i hope...) on low profile carbon rims (Araya ADX-240CF look-a-like)

Some of them are stamped and some dont, but only silver are approved to compete with in real japanese keirin.

i got the new cranks because i found a huge crack in my campy c record cranks :(

Upped the slave level of my Panasonic with some Shimano goodness:

Strangely enough not quite sure if I like it better than the standard Sugino ring. Might look better with the matching DA cranks, but still waiting on some bolts.

Ring is actually 1/8 inch. Never seen those before; they're pretty rare? 49T.

Odd, I was under the impression that 4 logos meant 3/32 and 3 logos meant 1/8...
