Yeah I have to agree. I am mostly a fan of the the throwback cars, but that front end is a disaster.

The Land Rover is having a bit of prep work at the moment, ready for a winter trip up to climb some mountains in the North West Highlands.

Just about all modern Lancia's, you can see where they were heading with the design, but then they drunkenly described it to the person in charge of pressing the sheet metal out over the phone and that was the result, hopefully not as designer intended but with the italians nothing is a surprise lol!

trouble is the front has to be euro ncap compliant for pedestrian survivability for lower limb trauma - designer should still be flayed alive though

True, certain heights of lights and indicators mean that theres only so much you can do with it. Looks like a genuine parts bin car though, they found a surplus of headlights/grills/THAT front wing, then decided to build a car around them.

The fulvia does hark back to the original, the long bonnet and the raised light of the UK spec cars. The car is a protoype, the lights I think were supposed to have the upper infill to follow the line of the wing and the bonnet. I like the thin A posts, probably be a lot thicker if the car was produced. I like it as an homage, maybe, still a pretty car. You lot are all wrong, so fuck you. (slowly wiping away tears) I like it and tried to buy one of the prototypes and even put money down to buy one.....I hate you all barstards.....

So you like mechano :)
Nice photos, floor doesn't look to comfy. As I get older, working on a not freezing floor is a bonus.

^ was ist? 660cc? Hope it Fireblade engine?
-
• #25420
Unlikely. Fireblade engines are all 900cc plus.
Wasn't this car part of a bunch that were produced in Japan during the late 80's/early 90's?
Suzuki's version was the Cappuccino...

Honda Beat?

Part of their Kei car program. Was a concept, now in production - S660. Potential for other markets with a 1000cc. Interesting.
-
• #25423
Almost. First Fireblade engine was actually 893cc, but all subsequent models were indeed bigger than 900cc, going to 918cc, then 929cc, then 954cc, then 999cc.
