Nope those are girl's shoes. I know this because my eldest is a girl so my two boys wore girly hand me downs until they were old enough to complain.

small girl has girl feet!
Without getting into the debate regarding gender neutral parenting, the woman in the shoe shop stopped us from buying navy shoes as in September she will have to wear boring black or navy shoes, and that will last for the next 13 years, so why not have some colour one last time? She probably had those red shoes sitting around for years, waiting for a mark stupid enough to fall for that line. In my defense she was wearing the bear socks when she went to try them on...

Also, old headbadge is historical, and no longer in use. Balance bike 2.0 is already in prototyping stages....

And that's exactly why I've been wearing these, ever since I left school...

Say what you like about the shoes but it's impossible to be unhappy with socks that have happy bears on.

How long's the main tube on the Little Despot bike? I'm about to start making a balance bike for one of my nieces (aged 3). TIG welded rather than fillet brazed, but it'll be bright pink which is the main thing for her.

Second fleshy dependent has come of age. I'm happy to pass down clothing to no.2 as, well, it's just fucking clothes, and almost everything I wear comes from distributors so why should anyone else have anything nice? Bikes however are a different kettle of fish, and I can't bring myself to let her have her elder sisters cast offs.
I have bits of carbon and bits of steel in the workshop, so cue bonded carbon balance bike! This seemed a little doable and quick, so have decided to make a pair of my little wound ups at the same time. If it's not done by Christmas it will be like a Barnardos advert at mine, and my parents in law will have proof that they should never have trusted me, so the pressure is on...

This is so bling. Needs a holographic sticker tag thing like the yoots leave on their Burberry caps to prove they are genuine. The gold teeth will come for her birthday I presume?
Can't wait to see the finished product.

@BareNecessities could use an ordinary ordinary as a balance bike, his feet would touch the floor.

Your eldest would probably beat me up anyway.
